Founder & President
Joseph began his career in property appraisal in 1985. After spending nearly a decade in senior management positions within the profession, he founded Boutilier & Associates in 1994. Joseph’s dedication and leadership ensure excellence in appraisal services and company management.
Joseph provides guidance to every team member and continually fosters growth, new technology education, and shared knowledge. His background in Building Technology, Electrical Construction, Economics, and Property Valuation lays a strong foundation for insightful contributions.
He actively engages in re-education through UBC & the AIC, while also monitoring the intersection of evolving trends in real estate and environmental factors, exploring the impacts on housing design, construction techniques, energy efficiency, and potential environmental threats.
Joseph is an Associate Member of the NSRA, a licensed member of the NSREAA, a designated member of the AIC, and past associate member of CAHI and the Building Inspector’s Association of Nova Scotia. His multifaceted expertise and unwavering commitment make him an invaluable asset to the firm and esteemed clientele.
